Used Guitar

Buying a used guitar is a great idea for beginning guitar players. They are generally less expensive than purchasing a newer model, but can still produce a great sound if you find the right one. Many people believe that a well broken-in guitar will actually play better than a brand new one.

A high quality used guitar, depending on the model, can sometimes be more expensive than a brand new guitar. As a general rule, used instruments should be less expensive, but this is not always the case. A vintage 1960’s Fender Stratocaster, for instance, will almost always be more expensive than a new Stratocaster.

There are many resources when looking for a good used guitar. Many local music stores will have a selection of different used instruments, some better than others. There are also many different online sites that are dedicated to selling used instruments.
